Prayer

If you could ask Jesus to teach you how to do one thing, what would it be? Would you want Him to teach you how to walk on water? Would you want Him to teach you how to love people? Would you want to know how to heal the sick? What teaching would you ask from the Lord?

It is interesting to realize that the men who were the closest to Jesus asked Him to teach them something. And what was their request?

"Lord, teach us to pray."

I think they recognized that the source of Christ's power, the source of His compassion, the sum total of who He was, was rooted in the time He spent with the Father.
